Susan Lorrine (Klanecky) Kosmicki

Susan “Sue” L. Kosmicki, 74, of Pharr, Texas, died on March 10, 2025, at the Comfort House Hospice Care in Mcallen, Texas.

Private Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the Bohemian National Cemetery in Howard County, Nebraska.  Pastor Daniel Bear will be officiating along side Alan Ellison.  Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.

Sue was born in St. Paul on December 17, 1950, to Lewis and Irene (Brengelman) Klanecky.  She received her education at Grand Island Senior High School.  She was united in marriage to Donald Carr in Grand Island on December 21, 1990.  Sue was united in marriage to Gordon Kosmicki in Grand Island in 2001. In 2018, she married Arturo Rodriguez in Pharr, Texas.

Sue had an infectious smile and her laugh was contagious.  She was a caregiver and nurturer, and always planned ahead.  She aimed to help others achieve their best outcomes, and she was a loyal friend who would do anything for anyone.  She was a fantastic cook who enjoyed her time in the kitchen.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Arturo Rodriguez of Pharr, Texas; mother, Irene (Brengelman) Klanecky; brother Al Klanecky; 3 daughters, Jennifer Beran, Heather Beran, and Christina Elswick; and 5 grandchildren.

Sue was preceded in death by her dad, Lewis Klanecky, and brother, Lance Klanecky.
