Sue A. Fieldgrove

Sue A. Fieldgrove, 71, of rural Wolbach died Friday, September 14, 2007 at the Howard County Community Hospital in St. Paul after a long illness.
Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday at the Elba Community Center in Elba. Melvin Addy will officiate. Inurnment will be held at a later date in the Elba Cemetery. There will be a time to sign the memorial book and greet the family on Wednesday, from 4 ? 7 p.m. at Jacobsen-Greenway Funeral Home in St. Paul.
Memorials are suggested to the donor?s choice.
Mrs. Fieldgrove was born March 4, 1936 near Berwyn, NE to Robert and Rosalie (Cook) Pracht.
Sue was raised in the Broken Bow area. She graduated from Broken Bow High School. While working in Broken Bow, she met Allan and they were married in March, 1957. The couple lived in Ansley, Sargent, and the Litchfield areas until moving to a farm in the Elba and Wolbach area. At that time they became members of Jehovah?s Witness.
She enjoyed making special cakes, pancakes, clothes for people she knew and talking about the Bible. She had a deep interest in her family, especially her grandchildren?s activities.
Survivors include her husband, Allan of Wolbach; one son and daughter-in-law, Matt and Debra Fieldgrove of Somerton, AZ; one daughter, Susan Fieldgrove of Wolbach; one daughter-in-law, Karen Fieldgrove of Elba; four grandchildren, Randie Adams of Grand Island, Robin Fieldgrove of Elba, Madeline and Andrew Fieldgrove of Yuma, AZ; two step-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Bobbie and Laurel Pracht of Broken Bow; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Joan and Bill Batten of Butner, NC, Wanda and Norman Johnson of Callaway, and Judy and Jerry Jacobsen of Doniphan; one aunt, Lucille Payne of Broken Bow and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Nicky Fieldgrove and a brother, Kenny Pracht.
