Stanley “Stan” E. Lehn, 79, of Lincoln, Nebraska passed away unexpectedly on November 12, 2023, at Bryan LGH Medical Center - East, in Lincoln.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at the Arcadia Methodist Church, 235 Reynolds Street, in Arcadia, Nebraska. Rolen Sell will officiate. Interment will be in the Arcadia Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 17, 2023, at Jacobsen-Greenway-Dietz Funeral Home, 411 “O” Street, in St. Paul. Memorials are suggested to the family.
Mr. Lehn was born Stanley Eugene Lehn to Darrel and Julia (Einspahr) Lehn on December 24, 1943, in Loup City, NE. He was raised and educated in Boelus and Ainsworth, NE along with his four brothers, Ronald, Richard, Curt, and Greg, and his sister, Connie.
Stan met Georgia (Brown) Lehn and the couple was married on January 15, 1967, in Arcadia, NE. Stan and Georgia settled in Lincoln and had four children, Terri, Troy, Scott, and Heather. Stan joined the Navy out of high school, but once he and Georgia settled in Lincoln, he joined the Lincoln police force. After the police force, Stan and Georgia had stops in Clarks, Kearney and Grand Island where Stan worked in the insurance industry, sold siding and windows, and eventually started long haul truck driving which led he and Georgia to settle back in Lincoln. At the time of his passing, Stan was working part time as a shag driver. Stan loved to talk about his family to whoever would listen and just enjoyed spending time with his family.
Stan is survived in his immediate family by two sons, Troy of Grand Island and Scott of Ramsey, MN; one daughter, Heather of Lincoln, six grandchildren, one great grandchild; two brothers, Curt of Boelus and Richard of St. Libory; and a sister, Connie of La Vista.
Stan was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia; daughter, Terri; father, Darrel; mother, Julia; and his brothers, Ronald and Greg. He was also preceded by an infant brother, Kenneth.
