Robert Friedrichsen, 68, of Wolbach died Friday, February 20, 2015 at his home in Wolbach.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday at Greenway Funeral Home in Palmer. The Reverend Martin Leeper will officiate.
Inurnment will be held in Rose Hill Cemetery in Palmer.
Robert's wishes were to be cremated.
Memorials are suggested to the family's choice.
Mr. Friedrichsen was born January 22, 1947 in Palmer, Nebraska to W. Laurence and Mildred (Blauhorn) Friedrichsen.
He grew up in Palmer and attended Palmer High School.
Robert worked for Lemmerman Farms and worked as a truck driver for some time. He had worked in home construction, plumbing and electrical all his life. He also ran a farm for about 2 years and operated a Bar and Grill and worked at the Nebraska Veterans Home in Grand Island for some time. Robert worked in welding at Strobel's in Clarks for nearly six years. He also did some work in landscaping and nursery.
In earlier years, he enjoyed fishing. He enjoyed watching western movies and shows and especially enjoyed watching Nebraska Football.
Robert is survived by his son, Rex Friedrichsen and his fiancé© Barb Noonan of Wolbach; two grandchildren, Brittany Friedrichsen and Christopher Friedrichsen of Hastings; two great grandchildren, Faith & Abby; and a sister-in-law, Bonnie Friedrichsen of Palmer; and nieces & nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Dale & Don Friedrichsen.
