Paula Kay (Scrivner-Payne) Reimers

Paula Kay (Scrivner-Payne) Reimers, 77 of St. Paul, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Tiffany Square Care Center in Grand Island.

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Palmer, NE.  Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Palmer.  Reverend Tom Clark will be officiating.

Visitation will be from 5-7 P.M. Monday at Greenway Funeral Home in Palmer.  Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.

Paula was born November 9, 1940 in Nelson, NE to Gene Scrivner & Helen Snavely Scrivner Johnson.  She grew up in Nelson where she attended school.  She moved to Guide Rock, NE where she raised her 3 daughters.  She was united in marriage to William "Bill" Reimers on June 10, 2000 in St. Paul, NE.  The couple lived in St. Paul.

Paula enjoyed knitting, puzzles, baking pies, and traveling to Legion Conventions.  She also enjoyed being a snowbird and spending the winters in Arizona.  She was an avid Husker fan and also loved Mickey Mouse.   She spent a lot of time tending to her flowers.  Her greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her family.  She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in St. Paul, American Legion Auxiliary, VFW, and the Eagles Club.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, William “Bill” Reimers of St. Paul; daughters and sons-in-law, Ronni & Len Herrick of Franklin, Sandy and Herb Bryson of Wellington, KS, Deb & Marc Foss of Littleton, CO; stepsons and step-daughters-in-law, David & Rhonda Reimers of Palmer, Darrell Reimers of Grand Island, Darwin Reimers of Palmer; step-daughter and step-son-in-law, Dena & Rick Conrad of St. Libory; grandchildren and their spouses, Travis & Ashley Wulf, Chad & Krystal Wulf, Codi & Dustin Carlson, Adam O'Neal, Jenny & Dale Mertens, Brent Murray, & Kendra O'Neal; step-grandchildren, William Reimers, Shelly Reimers, Breana Conrad, Cheyenne Reimers, Mackenze Conrad, Ricky Conrad, & Riley Reimers; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 step-great-grandchild; sisters & brothers-in-law, Sherry Woolsey of Hastings, Carol & Darrell Beck of Edgar, Cindy & Don Petersen of Temple, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Bob & DJ Scrivner of Omaha; half-brothers and half-sister-in-law, Mick Johnson of Omaha, Bill & Sandra Johnson of Omaha; brother-in-law, Warren Thompson of Grand Island; many nieces & nephews.

Paula was preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law, Ernest Reimers; mother-in-law, Yvonne Reimers; sisters, Grace Thompson & Peggy Alexander; brother-in-law, Skip Woolsey.
