Olga H. Kotrch, 93, of St. Paul died Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Tiffany Square Care Center in Grand Island.
There will be a private family inurnment in Elmwood Cemetery in St. Paul.
Memorials are suggested to Tiffany Square Care Center.
Jacobsen-Greenway Funeral Home in St. Paul is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Kotrch was born August 16, 1921 in Howard County to John and Mary (Slavicek) Jares.
She attended rural school in District 13 in Howard County.
After she completed her schooling, she returned home to help her parents on the farm.
Olga was united in marriage to Victor Kotrch on August 26, 1946 in Grand Island.
The couple lived on a farm southeast of St. Paul for all of their married lives. Olga helped on the farm and she also had a business raising chickens and selling eggs.
Olga enjoyed flowers and watching birds and the wildlife that was on their farm.
Survivors include nephews and their spouses, Glenn and Dorothy Jares of Grand Island, Daniel and Jean Jares of Lincoln and Jeff and Shannon Swanson of St. Paul; other nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; friends and neighbors.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Victor on April 16, 1992; four brothers, Charles, George, Johnnie and Clayton Jares; an infant brother, Raymond Jares; sister, Emma Jares and an infant sister.
