Nancy J. Clement, 72, of Wolbach died Monday, October 17, 2016 at her home.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday at Jacobsen-Greenway Funeral Home in St. Paul. Reverend Martin Leeper will officiate.
Inurnment will be held at 2:00 p.m. in Sunset Cemetery in Cedar Rapids.
There will not be any visitation.
Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice.
Jacobsen-Greenway Funeral Home in St. Paul is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Clement was born June 12, 1944 in Wisner, NE to Mearl and Ruth (Wolfe) Greek.
Nancy was raised in Cedar Rapids and attended Cedar Rapids Schools where she graduated in 1963.
After her schooling, she was employed at Dale’s Electronics in Columbus.
She was united in marriage to Lonnie Clement on October 3, 1964 at the United Methodist Church in Cedar Rapids.
The couple lived in several Nebraska communities including Grand Island, Omaha, Cedar Rapids and Columbus before moving to Barstow, CA where they lived for four years.
They returned to Nebraska where they lived in Schuyler for nineteen years. For eleven of those years she again worked at Dale’s Electronics in Columbus. In 1991 Nancy and Lonnie moved to Wolbach where they have lived since. Nancy managed a bar in Wolbach for four years and then worked at Hometown Market for ten years until her retirement.
Nancy enjoyed bowling, playing cards, trips to the casino and especially babysitting and spoiling her grandchildren. When Nancy was in high school she played catcher on the softball team.
Survivors include her husband, Lonnie of Wolbach, a son and daughter-in-law, David and Debbie Clement of Genoa; three daughters, Barb Noonan and her fiancé, Rex Friedrichsen of Palmer and Tammy Barr and her husband Randall and Kristi Wold and her husband Matt, all of Wolbach; ten grandchildren, Jesse, Jackie and Jordan Clement, Kelsey Kolar and her husband, Tanner, Danika, Delaney, Brylee and Taryn Barr, and Karsyn and Brinley Wold; a great-grandchild, Bexley Kolar; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Harold and Jeri Greek and Don Greek, all of Newman Grove; and three sisters and a brother-in-law, MaryAlice Hergenroder of Springdale, Arkansas, Patsy and Jake Voeller of Goldsboro, NC and Carol Biggs of Santa Maria, CA.
She is preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Bill, Bob, Ronnie, Mearle, and Jimmie Greek; and two sisters, Margaret Nielsen and Peggy Miller.
