Myra J. (Boll) Hunt

Myra J. (Boll) Hunt, 80, of Council Bluffs, IA died Friday, May 4, 2018 at Glen Haven Home in Glenwood, IA.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday at Jacobsen-Greenway Funeral Home in St. Paul.  Phil LaRoe will officiate.  Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in St. Paul.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice.

Myra was born August 23, 1937 in the farm house where her dad was born, north of Dannebrog to Ed and Lucille (Matousek) Boll.

She attended grade school at Bunker Hill School and graduated from St. Paul High School in 1956.

Myra was united in marriage to Harry Hunt on February 4, 1962 in Glenwood, IA.

The couple lived in Wichita, KS, St. Paul, NE, Omaha and Council Bluffs.  She worked at Mutual of Omaha and then at the Bethany Lutheran Nursing Home in Council Bluffs.

Myra enjoyed crocheting, making dolls, gardening and made an excellent cherry pie.

She was a member of the Baptist Faith and the Eastern Star.

Survivors include her Husband Harry of Council Bluffs; two sons, daughter, daughter in-law and grandchildren.  Kerry Hunt of St Petersburg, FL, Cindy Hunt of Glenwood, IA, John and Annie Hunt of Glendale, AZ: Three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and a brother, David Boll of Colorado.

She is preceded in death by her parents.
