Mr. Wendell Graviette

Wendell Graviette, 74, of Wolbach died Friday, October 10, 2008, at his home in Wolbach.



Visitation will be he held from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 13, 2008 at Jacobsen-Greenway Funeral Home in St. Paul. Cremation will follow after visitation.



Memorials are suggested to the family's choice.



Jacobsen-Greenway Funeral Home in Wolbach is in charge of arrangements.



Mr. Graviette was born February 26, 1934 to Raymond Henderson and Fay Graviette in Pryorsburg, Kentucky.



Wendell was raised in Kentucky and Michigan and attended schools there.



He was united in marriage to Lorraine Goretski on May 2, 1953.



He worked as a truck driver. He and his family owned Five G's Tavern in Wolbach from 1974-1980.



Wendell enjoyed the outdoors and in his earlier years he loved to hunt and fish. Wendell was known for his ability to socialize with people and loved to meet and talk with people. He also loved children very much. He also enjoyed football and horse races.



Survivors include his wife, Lorraine of Wolbach; three sons & daughters-in-law, Greg & Nancy Graviette of Lincoln, Brian & Kim Graviette of Hastings, and Derek & Julie Graviette of Shawnee, KS; seven grandchildren; Tiffany, Dustin, Allison, Erin, Jordan, Derek, and Danielle Graviette; and one great granddaughter, Elyssa; one brother Glen Henderson & his wife Dorothy of Michigan; and two sisters Joan Staples & her husband Jim and Cindy Velna & her husband Marty both of Michigan.



He was preceded in death by his mother and step father.
