Georgia M. Lehn, 58, of Lincoln died Monday, June 23, 2008 at Bryan-LGH West in Lincoln.



Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, at the United Methodist Church in Arcadia. The Reverend Sherry Sklenar will officiate. Interment will be held in the Arcadia Cemetery at Arcadia. Visitation will be held on Friday, from 6 - 8 p.m. at Jacobsen-Greenway Funeral Home in St. Paul.



Memorials are suggested to the family.



Mrs. Lehn was born Georgia Maxine Brown to Robert and Ruth (Packard) Brown in February 22, 1950 in Loup City, NE. She was raised and educated in Arcadia, NE along with her two brothers, Robert (Bob) and Reed, and her two sisters, Brenda and Judy.



Georgia met Stanley Lehn and the couple was married on January 15, 1967 in Lincoln, NE. Georgia and Stan settled in Lincoln and had four children, Terri, Troy, Scott, and Heather. Georgia raised her family and at the same time ran an in home daycare service for a number of children. The family moved to the Grand Island area in 1980 where Georgia pursued her ambition of becoming a cosmetologist. After finishing cosmetology school, she worked at several locations in the Grand Island area before opening her own beauty shop where she met and became friends with many members of the community.



Georgia is survived in her immediate family by her husband Stan of Lincoln; two sons Troy of Grand Island and Scott of West Richland, WA; one daughter Heather of Lincoln, her mother Ruth of Arcadia, six grandchildren; two sisters Brenda of Grand Island and Judy of Arcadia.



Georgia was preceded in death by her daughter Terri; her father Robert; and her brothers Robert and Reed.
