Ronald Reese, 51, of Grand Island died January 12, 2009 at Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, at Jacobsen-Greenway Funeral Home in St. Paul. The Reverend Martha Voigt will officiate. Inurnment will be held at a later date in California. There will not be any visitation, Mr. Ronald was cremated.
Memorials are suggested to the family's choice.
Mr. Reese was born July 15, 1957 to Toby & Mildred (Cole) Reese. He was raised in Eureka, California.
In 1980, Ronald moved to Nebraska and lived in Cairo. He worked as a chef. At the time of his death, he was employed at Standard Iron in Grand Island.
He was not afraid to try anything and was one who lived life to the fullest.
Ronald's favorite hobbies included fishing, playing darts and cooking.
Survivors include his fiancé©e, Lynette Jarman of Grand Island; a son, Jacob Reese of Wichita, KS; special friends, Melanie & Alan, Rick & Chas, Nate, and Rachael; and one brother, Richard Reese of California.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Toby and Randy Reese.
