Mac C. Hall

Mac C. Hall, 76, of St. Paul died Tuesday, September 11, 2007 after a lengthy battle with a rare form of cancer at the Howard County Community Hospital in St. Paul.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday at Jacobsen-Greenway Funeral Home in St. Paul. The Reverend Ken Christensen will officiate. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in St. Paul. Visitation will be held on Friday, from 4 ? 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Hall was born January 2, 1931 in Hitchcock County, NE to Charles and Ruth (Bowman) Hall.

Mac was raised and attended school in Hitchcock County. After his schooling, he farmed with his father until 1963 and then farmed with his brother, Bill until 1966. While living in Hitchcock County, Mac also broke horses.

He was united in marriage to Virginia Adair on September 12, 1964 in Fairbury. The couple moved to St. Paul in 1966 and lived east of town where he was engaged in farming. Mac also worked at the elevator in St. Paul. He also did custom combining.

His wife Virginia died on March 16, 1978.

Mac was united in marriage to Louise Denley on January 19, 1979 in Greenville, MS. The couple lived on their farm east of St. Paul.

Mac was a member of Grace Baptist Church in St. Paul and was a former member of the Eagles Club of Grand Island.

Survivors include his wife, Louise of St. Paul; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Julie Padgett of Shelton and Ryan and Shannon Hall of North Platte; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Debra and Alan Sinner of Casa Grande, AZ, Theresa and Tom Seiler of Wellfleet, NE, Leanna and Devin Obermiller of Grand Island and Evelyn Hall of North Platte; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five brothers, Lyman Hall, John Hall and Robert Hall of Culbertson, Delbert Hall of Colorado and Richard Hall of Leland, MS; eight sisters, Ruby Dake of Phoenix, Icela Sidell of Minatare, Twyla McClung of Culbertson, Ada Donald of Kentucky, Romona Morgan of California, Barbara Bender of Minatare, Wenda Hall and Sondra Wakeman of Colorado.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Virginia; one sister, Queta McIntire and an infant brother, James Hall.
