Larry Timmons

August 28, 1959 — April 4, 2016

Larry Timmons, 56, of Kearney formerly of Wolbach, died Tuesday, April 5, 2016 in Kearney as the result of an accident.

Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wolbach.  Reverend Marcia Dorn will officiate.  Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery in Wolbach.

Visitation and a time to greet the family will be on Sunday from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. at the church.

Memorials are suggested to the family's choice.

Jacobsen-Greenway Funeral Home in St. Paul is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Timmons was born August 28, 1959 in St. Paul to Duane and Mary Ann (Nealon) Timmons.

He was baptized and confirmed in Trinity Lutheran Church in Wolbach.

His childhood was spent growing up in Wolbach.  Larry graduated from Wolbach High School in 1978 and continued his education at what is now the University of Nebraska at Kearney.

Larry was employed as a plumber and handyman for various locations in Kearney.  He was very knowledgable and could fix almost anything.

Larry loved to travel and make friends.  He enjoyed his trip to Europe where he traveled across the countries of Holland and Germany.

Larry was blessed with many friends as he always took time to help another person.  He will be missed by all who knew him.

Those left to cherish Larry’s memory include his father, Duane “Tim” Timmons of Wolbach; a sister and brother-in-law, Theresa and Richard Iliff of Omaha; nieces and nephews and their children; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann; two brothers, Jerry and Bryan Timmons; and several cousins.
