Kimberly R. Harrison, 47, of Ogallala went home to her family in the clouds of Glory on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at the Banner Health Center in Ogallala.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday at Greenway Funeral Home in Palmer. The Reverend Allen Runyan will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Palmer. Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home in Palmer.
Memorials are suggested to the family's choice.
Kimberly was born August 28, 1964 in Winner, SD to Norval and Inez (Leetch) Harrison. She received her early education in the Grand Island Schools.
Kimberly lived in Arkansas for eight years working in a nursing home. She also lived in Grand Island and North Platte. While in Grand Island she was employed by the Riverside Country Club. She also did private nursing for elderly people in their homes.
She loved Arkansas and the mountains. She enjoyed puzzles, cards, fill in games, spending time with her step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She liked to go fishing with her brother Houston and sisters, Val and Paula.
She was a member of the Church of God in Grand Island.
Survivors include her mother and step-father, Inez and Dwight Wardrip of Ogallala; brother, Houston Harrison of Ogallala; two sisters, Valerie Huestis and Paula Harrison and a brother-in-law, LeDaniel Russell all of Brule, NE; a step-daughter, Cathy of Russellville, AR; two step grandsons; step-brother, Wade Wardrip and his wife Lori of Eufaula, OK; nephews, Nicholas and Clayton & his wife Brooke Burton; nieces, KaeLynn, Brittany, Chante, Sheleah and Ashlee; great niece Kyarrah; step nieces and husbands Christina & John Brown and Camie & Jose Tovar and their children and other cousins, aunts, uncles, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Norval Harrison; grandparents, Charles and Myrtle Leetch and George and Odetta Harrison; four uncles, Butch Harrison and Pete, Charles and Curtis Leetch and four aunts, Doris, Gladys Sackett, Barbie Leetch and Darlene Gish.
