Keith was born July 8, 1953 in Ord to Chester and Ruth (Warner) Bennett.  He attended schools in Scotia and Elba, graduating from Elba High School in 1972.

Keith moved to a farm west of Elba where he raised sheep and livestock and worked for the Sack Brothers.

He was united in marriage to Judy Burkhardt on September 2, 1999 in St. Paul.

The couple lived north of Palmer and Keith worked for Performance Plus in Palmer.  He did trucking for Farwell Trucking, Warner Construction and Smith Construction of Grand Island before continuing his employment for Dinsdale’s in Palmer.

Keith retired because of health reasons.

Spending time with his family was very important to Keith.

He enjoyed riding horses, gardening, planting flowers, going to sale barns and “road farming”.  He liked to go to coffee shops and play cards.

Keith was a member of the Lutheran Faith.
