Judith (Oeltjen) Johnson, 82, passed away in her home in Mesa, Arizona on Thursday, May 12, 2016.
Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, September 3, 2016 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in St. Paul. Reverend Marcia Dorn will officiate.
Inurnment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in St. Paul.

Mrs. Johnson was born December 26, 1933 in Surprise, NE to Frederich and Erika Oeltjen.
She was raised in the Wolbach and Palmer area. She attended Wolbach High School
She had a Master's degree in Textiles and Design from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. She was a career educator, a born horse lover, and a devoted, born-again Christian.
Judith was united in marriage to Larry Johnson in 1966 in Fremont.
Judith was a loving mother and a strong role model.
She is survived by husband Larry of Mesa, AZ; daughter, Melody Johnson of Denver; a son Scott Johnson of Denver; grandsons, Jacob and Jared Johnson of Denver; two brothers, Anton Oeltjen of Elba and John Oeltjen and his wife Joan of Palmer; and a sister Ethel Miner of O’Neill.
