Jolene Sue Batts, 37 and her infant daughter, Phoenycks Hope, passed away on October 20, 2022, in Lincoln, Nebraska.
A Celebration of their lives will be held from 1:45-3:30 P.M. on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at The Elks Lodge, 604 South Locust Street, Grand Island. Memorials are suggested to the family.
Jolene was born on October 13, 1985, to Jimmy Knox and Hope Hamner in Panorama City, California. She grew up in Lake Los Angeles, California. Her children, Julian and Jordan Cimity were born in Lake Los Angeles and were the love of her life! Aspiring to be a mechanic one-day, Jolene was a beautiful hard working “I can do anything” attitude gal. She was definitely a gal who was not afraid to get her hands dirty. She enjoyed drawing in her leisure time. She loved music and the outdoors. Jolene has traveled and lived in many places throughout her life. She was so loved by her family.
She is survived by her husband, John Batts; children, Julian and Jordan Cimity and their father, Jason Cimity; her siblings, Samarra & Dewayne, Janice, Jammie, Shanda, Josh, Breana, JW, Bridget, and Jason; step-mom, Teri Knox; nieces, nephews, extended cousins, loved ones, and many friends.
Jolene was preceded in death by her daughter, Phoenycks Hope; former husband, Ronnie Montoya; father, Jimmy Knox, mother, Hope Hamner; other relatives, Robert, Sharon, Shyrell, Adam, Joshua and Phillip.
Although Jolene is no longer here in physical form, she will remain in our hearts and spirits forever. May our Heavenly Father accept his beautiful green-eyed angel, Jolene Sue Batts and her baby daughter, Phoenycks. May they rest in peace.
