John C. Warford, 65, of Elba died Thursday, September 21, 2017 at his home.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday at the United Methodist Church in Elba. Reverend Michael Anderson and Cheryl Anderson will officiate.
There will not be any visitation for Mr. Warford.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Elba Rescue Squad or the American Heart Association.
Jacobsen-Greenway Funeral Home in St. Paul is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Warford was born April 23, 1952 in Ord to Gerald and Barbara (Andersen) Warford.
He attended Elba Schools where he graduated in 1970.
John was united in marriage to Martha Paczosa on January 22, 1972 in Elba.
John was employed at Bosselman’s in Grand Island, then at Swift & Company and he did work for farmers.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and helping people fix small engines.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Jason Young of Lisbon Falls, Maine; a son and daughter-in-law, Travis and Barbara Warford of Doniphan; five grandchildren, Gavin Young, Trevor, Emily, Christina and Bianca Warford; a sister, Geri Warford of Ord and Marti Paczosa of Grand Island.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
