Jimmy R. Knox 55, of St. Paul passed away June 22, 2021 at his home in St. Paul.

Jimmy was born September 17, 1965 in Santa Monica, California to Jimmy & Wilma Raydene (Hudkins) Knox.  He grew up in California and then lived in several states before coming to St. Paul.   He was united in marriage to Teri Fox on February 18, 2017.  They lived life to its fullest, living life day to day.  Jimmy drove truck in his younger years and had a love for hot rods.  There was never a dull moment and he always made you laugh.

Surviving family members include his wife, Teri of St. Paul; daughters, Samarra Lee Swaim and significant other, DeWayne King of Harrodsburg, KY, Jolene Sue Montoya and significant other, Jerry Coleman of Grand Island, Janice Roberta Knox Hamner of  Loup City, Jammie Victoria Hamner of Beatrice, Shanda Ilene Hamner of Grand Island; son, J.W. Knox of Lebanon, MO; daughter, Breanna Renee; son, Jason Nielson; daughter, Bridget McKnight and her significant other, Adrian McKnight; his 2nd mom, Linda Sue Lowe; sisters, Sandra K. Knox and Melissa Lynn Lowe, both of Illinois; numerous grandchildren; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bud Cowel; son-in-law, Joshua Ray Swaim, Sr.

A Celebration of Life for Jimmy will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at the United Methodist Church in St. Paul. There will be no viewing and to honor his wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation. A Poker Run will be held at a later date in St. Paul.
