Jason L Jensen

Jason L. Jensen, 37, of North Loup died Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday at Jacobsen-Greenway Funeral Home in St. Paul.  Reverend Randy Dilts will officiate.  Interment will be in the Dannevirke Cemetery near Dannevirke.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice.

Mr. Jensen was born June 4, 1978 in Central City to Jens and Patricia (Johnson) Jensen.

Jason attended schools in Central City, North Loup and Aurora.

After his schooling he worked at Mid-Nebraska Millright and then for the Pivot Man and then Landmark Water.

Jason loved spending time with his daughters and family and was one who would help anyone in need.  He enjoyed fishing, driving around looking at the Nebraska scenery, playing marbles and dice and watching Spongebob Squarepants with his nieces and nephews.

Survivors include two daughters, Shelby Jensen of Aurora and Lily Jensen of Wood River; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Randall and Steph Jensen of Marquette, Larry Jensen and Shane and Dorothy Jensen, all of North Loup, and Chris and Vicki Jensen of Grand Island; two sisters, Shirley Teichmeier of North Loup and Sherry Torres of Flagstaff, AZ; two aunts, Myrtle Skolil and her husband Ron of North Loup and Helen Jensen of Staples, MN ; an uncle, Burt Johnson of Ord and twenty-one nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Kathy Glinsmann.
