It is with heavy hearts that the family of James “Jamie” Lockwood, who was only 45, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at his home in Palmer.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Palmer. Interment will be held in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Palmer. Pastor John Dolittle and Pastor Craig Niemeier will be offering words of comfort. A luncheon will follow at the American Legion Club in Palmer following the services for all to attend. Casual attire is requested as James didn’t care for getting dressed up.
Visitation will be from 4-7 P.M. on Monday, November 18, 2024, at the church. Memorials are suggested to St. John’s Lutheran Church in Palmer, the Merrick County Sheriff’s Department, or to the family for later designation. The family would like to set up a future fund to help those with mental health issues and hopefully prevent another family from experiencing such a tragic loss. If one life/family can be saved, this would mean so much to his wife, Taffy and kids, Mason, Dianna, Daxton, and Victoria. Greenway-Dietz Funeral Home in Palmer is assisting the Lockwood’s.
