James H. Keane, 68, of Grand Island died Saturday, July 05, 2014 at the V.A. Medical Center in Grand Island.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday at Souleville Cemetery near Boelus. Reverend Robert Carlson will officiate.
Military honors will be presented by the Schipman Mogensen American Legion Post #201 of Boelus.
There will not be any visitation.
Memorials are suggested to the family's choice.

Jim was born September 13, 1945 in Indio, CA to Charles and Venus (Seeber) Keane.
He was raised and attended school in Indio and Boelus.
Jim worked as an electrician before entering the U.S. Navy on December 14, 1962. During his military service, he was stationed in Vietnam. He received his discharge on September 24, 1966.
Jim was united in marriage to Joyce Gay on November 19, 1963 in Grand Island.
Jim worked as an electrician in California at a nuclear power plant. Jim moved to Nebraska continuing electrical work for Ensley Electric in Grand Island.
After his retirement he continued to live in Grand Island.
Survivors include his former wife, Joyce of Grand Island and two nieces.
He is preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; and one brother, Lonnie Keane.
