Dorothy A. McPhillips, 77, of Grand Island died Friday, November 02, 2007 at St. Francis Medical Center in Grand Island.
Private family services will be held at a later date in Ebenezer Cemetery near Boelus.
Jacobsen-Greenway Funeral Home of St. Paul is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
Mrs. McPhillips was born May 21, 1930 at St. Edward, NE to Charles and Margaret (Yokley) Keller.
Dorothy attended and graudated from Fullerton High School.
She was united in marriage to James McPhillips in 1970 in St. Paul.
Dorothy leaves behind many beloved friends. She was a homemaker and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. She liked watching birds and working in her flower garden.
Survivors include her husband, James of Grand Island; a son and daughter-in-law, David and Sandra Collins of Phillips; a daughter, Donna Collins of Burwell; two grandsons, Dan Collins of Ogallala and Dustin Collins of his wife Ashley of Campbell, NE; two great-grandsons, Lance and Lathyn of Ogallala; one brother, Roy Keller of Wiesner, ID and three sisters, Dori Harris of Fullerton, Mable Reeves of Oregon City, OR and Marie Repenn of Parma, ID.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Diana Kay; two sisters, Ida Mae Placzek and Elena Quigley and two brothers, Frank and Ray Keller.
