Dennis L. Joseph, 73, of Palmer died Friday, June 23, 2017 at Bryan LGH East in Lincoln.
Mr. Joseph’s wishes were to be cremated and no services to be held.
Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice or the Central Nebraska Humane Society.
Greenway Funeral Home in Palmer is in charge of arrangements.
Dennis was born May 24, 1944 in Palmer to Lloyd and Ella Jean (Liberty) Joseph.
He was raised in Palmer and attended Palmer Schools where he graduated in 1962.
Dennis first worked at the Grand Island Independent before having his own business constructing grain bins.
He was united in marriage to Carole Davis on August 16, 1964 in Palmer.
Dennis began farming which he loved to do and continued for the rest of his life. Along with farming, he also raised cattle.
His wife Carol died on June 22, 1997.
He was united in marriage to Mary Kocina on March 7, 2006 in Las Vegas.
Dennis loved his Labrador dogs.
He belonged to the Grand Island Saddle Club.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Matt and Lorie Joseph of Palmer and their children, Derrick, Jessica and her husband, Logan, Justin and Ashley; great-grandchildren, Teagan, Zeke, Caroline, Dawson, and Everly; wife, Mary of Palmer and her children, John Giesenhagen and his wife, Candy of Grand Island and their children, Rylan and Kalea, and Sara Giesenhagen-Dolton and her husband Clarke of San Francisco.
He is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Carole.
