Beth K. Gellatly, 92, of Wolbach died Saturday, July 31, 2010 at the Greeley Care Home in Greeley.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday at Jacobsen-Greenway Funeral Home in St. Paul. The Reverend James Murphy will officiate. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery in Wolbach. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to the Cottonwood Park Fund or the Wolbach Community Center.

Beth was born December 12, 1917 at Aurora, Nebraska to Gideon & Katheryn (Cooper) Zehr.
She attended country school at Badger School and graduated from Stockham High School in 1935.

Beth was united in marriage to Ezra Gellatly, her high school sweetheart on November 7, 1940 at Eugene, Oregon.

Ezra was in the Army Corp at the time. Their son Drue was born in Bend, Oregon in 1943. After Ezra's discharge the family moved back to Stockham, NE to make their home. Beth worked for Steele's Rexall Drug in Aurora for 20 years. They then moved to Wolbach, NE in 1983.

After her husband died she enjoyed spending time with her buddies; Mary, Vivian, Darlene, June and others.

She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren, she loved to sew and quilt until her eye sight failed her. She liked her flowers and was always willing to help Drue in his garden, when she could.

She was a member of the Ray Mapes American Legion Auxiliary Post #236 of Wolbach, a Gold Star sister and a former member of the Presbyterian Church at Stockham, NE.

She is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Drue & Minnie Gellatly of Wolbach; grandsons, William of Rudioso, NM, Sean & wife Jackie of Grand Island, Travis & wife Renae of Omaha; granddaughter, Farra Gellatly of Wolbach; eight great-grandchildren, Jacob and Evan Gellatly, Raegan, Hannah and Dax Gellatly, Cooper and Landen Gellatly and Ava Gellatly.

Beth was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ezra on August 2, 1993; three brothers, Jerry, Don and Keith Zehr and her best friend Marlyn Jacobsen.
