Beatrice Lee (Beck) Martin

MARCH 18, 1943 – OCTOBER 23, 2021

On October 23, 2021, Beatrice Lee Martin, loving, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother & friend passed away at the age of 78.

Bea was born on March 18, 1943, in Grand Island, Nebraska to Ahlene Sargent & Walter Beck.

Services for Bea will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 1:30pm at the Arcadia United Methodist Church,  235 Reynolds St., Arcadia, NE 68815. Reception to follow.  Memorials are suggested to the RSVP Volunteer Organization in North Platte or to the family to be designated at a later date

Bea was a sweet, caring, and gentle woman. She loved to laugh, but also had an ornery side and loved to tease. Bea’s family was the most important thing in her life. She loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Bea also loved to visit with her friends that she made over the years.

Bea had a passion for music and loved to go dancing! She loved to read and was a member of the Red Hat Society. Bea spent the last 38 years in North Platte. Many people knew Bea as a waitress. She worked at the American Legion, Hobb“e”s, and the Depot. She also worked at Murphy’s Music, and Armadillo Express before retiring. During retirement, Bea volunteered at RSVP, a volunteer organization in North Platte, a senior center and during Christmas would help wrap presents.

Bea was preceded in death by her grandparents Roy & Irene Norris, her Mother Ahlene (Norris) Sargent, her father Walter Beck and her son-in law Billy Trembly. She is survived by her sister Patricia Beck (Beatrice, NE). Her son Jeff Martin, daughter in law Cara (Denver, CO). Her daughters Kim (Martin) Trembly (North Platte, NE) and Marcey (Wait) Rauert and son in law Ron (Omaha, NE). Her granddaughter Tasha Cooper and partner Josh Huntsman (North Platte, NE), granddaughter Taylor (Cooper) Larchick and grandson in law Noah Larchick (North Platte, NE). Grandsons Brady Cooper (Lincoln, NE), Ryan Rauert & Jonathan Rauert (Omaha, NE). Her six great grandchildren Cash, Rykan, Jaxon, Ariyah, Blair & Ellis.
