Anna Mae Iiams, 76, of St. Paul, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at Brookfield Park in St. Paul.
A Celebration of Anna’s life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, February 7, 2025, at Jacobsen-Greenway-Dietz Funeral Home in St. Paul. Father Vince Parsons will be officiating. Family will greet friends one hour prior to services. Inurnment will be held at the Columbus Cemetery in Columbus, Nebraska at a later date.
Anna Mae was born in Albion, Nebraska on December 1, 1948, to Chester and Signa (Saathoff) Iiams. She graduated from Mead High School in 1967. She was united in marriage to Melvin Glinsmann in Columbus, Nebraska, on April 12, 1970. She truly loved living on the farm and being a farmer’s wife. She spent much of her time tending to the farm and animals, which she really enjoyed. When she wasn’t working on the farm, Anna enjoyed going on walks and wood burning. She loved antique collecting as well as finding that perfect rock to add to her collection or give to one of her grandkids. She was a school bus driver for Loup City and St. Paul Public Schools for many years. She also worked as a custodian at St. Paul Public School.
Anna Mae’s memory will be cherished by her son, Lonnie Glinsmann (Patty Covert) of Rigby, Idaho; daughters, Nancy (Monty) Mrkvicka of St. Paul, Delcy (Trent) Falk of Marquette; brothers, Larry Iiams of Grand Island, Bob (Rose) Iiams of Ithaca, Wes (Brenda) Iiams of Chapman, Marvin Iiams and Ronnie Iiams, both of Sheridan, MO; sister, Shirly (Dar) Borchers of Bellevue; grandchildren, Conner (Alyssa) Schneider, Amanda Schneider, Thomas (Makenzie) Mrkvicka, Mikayla Mrkvicka, and Ausha Covert; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Anna Mae was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Signa (Saathoff) Iiams; brothers, Mike Iiams and Pat Iiams.
Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.
