Amy Lynn Whitefoot, 49 of Grand Island, died on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at the MOSAIC Intermediate Care Facility in Grand Island.
Funeral Services will be at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Jacobsen-Greenway-Dietz Funeral Home in St. Paul. Interment will be in the Hayestown Cemetery in Sherman County, Nebraska. Chaplain James Gruber will be officiating. The service will be live-streamed on the Jacobsen-Greenway-Dietz Facebook Page.
Visitation will be from 4-7 P.M. on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Jacobsen-Greenway-Dietz Funeral Home in St. Paul. Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
Amy was born on July 30, 1972 in Grand Island to Lynn and JoAnne (Lemburg) Whitefoot. She grew up in Grand Island and graduated from Grand Island Senior High in 1993. Her hobbies/interest included being a biggest Micheal Jackson fan. She could sing every word of his songs. She loved to dance to any kind of music. She had a loving heart for animals and her favorite animal if she could have one would be a sloth.
Those left to cherish her memory include her brothers, Steven and his wife, Tina Whitefoot of Ravenna and Neil Whitefoot of Grand Island; sisters, Deborah and her husband, Curtis Lehn of Alda and Janet Hansen of Grand Island; step-mother, Vicki, two aunts, Kathy Meyer of Boelus and Carolyn Sekutera of Loup City; uncles, Larry Lemberg and his wife, Eva of Columbus and Wayne Lemberg of Grand Island; Amy’s caregivers, Chris and Danielle Daake and family for 22 years and Day site and Mosaic Intermediate Care Facility where she lived and Mosaic for taking care of her over the years; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lynn and JoAnne Whitefoot; grandparents, Edward and Sylvia Lemburg, Edward and Elsie Whitefoot, and Florence and Vern Sterzbach.
