Alice was born July 8, 1928 in Ravenna to Lester B. and Louise (Moffett) Duncan.
She was raised near Ravenna, the second child and oldest daughter in a family of three boys and three girls. In high school, she took a course in Normal training which prepared her to teach school. She taught two years in District 25.
It was during that time she met Wayne, whom she would marry on May 26, 1948 in Boelus.
The young couple would begin farming near Boelus and would continue farming for their 67 years of marriage.
Alice always enjoyed children. She taught children in Sunday School at First Baptist Church in Dannebrog and would later babysit for a neighbor.
She enjoyed gardening and sewing and later in years took up scrapbooking and geneology.
She was a loving, faithful wife and a very good mother and will be greatly missed. Best of all, she loved Jesus and looked forward to seeing him.
Alice was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dannebrog and the American Legion Auxiliary.
